My Practice

Successful therapy addresses both current symptoms and their underlying causes. Our current mood, behavior and functioning result from a combination of past experiences, genetics, and social and/or environmental stressors. When we do not examine or give expression to our unique histories, we allow traumas to build up over time, which may result in negative thought patterns, self-destructive behaviors and emotional pain. Therapy can help integrate all of your life experiences, alter negative patterns of thinking and behavior, improve coping skills and reduce emotional distress.

I employ an integrative approach to treatment, adapting to the unique needs of each client. Oriented in trauma informed care, I utilize psychodynamic, family systems, strengths-based, interpersonal and cognitive behavioral modalities. I offer a safe, compassionate and judgement- free space for us to explore your concerns. I provide individual therapy for couples, adolescents and adults.
